Pennsylvania Therapist Collective
Let’s Build Something Meaningful — Together
If you’re a solo practitioner therapist in Pennsylvania, you know how much heart and energy it takes to run your own practice. It can be deeply fulfilling — but also lonely, expensive, and at times, overwhelming.
That’s why I’m bringing together therapists across Pennsylvania who want to join forces and create a therapist collective— a community focused on shared resources, connection, advocacy, and access to group health insurance options.
This idea has been in the works for a while, inspired by the amazing work of Rachel Dobkins and the Inner Arrow Therapist Collective in New Jersey. Now, it’s time to see if we can bring something similar to life here in PA.

Why a Collective?
Our goals are to:
Explore group health insurance options for solo practitioners
Build community and mutual support among therapists
Share business tools, resources, and advocacy efforts
Create sustainable systems that make private practice more accessible and less isolating
This is a grassroots effort — and the power to make it happen comes from us.

Why Now?
Health insurance costs are rising, and the window to form a group before the end of the year is tight. If we want to move forward, we’ll need to act fast — which means gathering information and organizing right now.
I’ve been quietly laying the groundwork and learning from other states, and I’m ready to connect with therapists who want to help shape the vision and direction of this Pennsylvania collective.
